What F10 products do you sell? Are there others?
As of now only the F10SC Disinfectant and F10SCXD Cleaner-Sanitizer products are available in the US market. While the entire F10 product line is popular and in use around the world, the only F10 products that has U.S. EPA clearance are the F10SC Disinfectant and the F10SCXD Cleaner-Sanitizer. Other F10 products include F10 Antiseptic Liquid Soap, F10 Hand Gel and F10 Quick Wipes will hopefully become available in the near future.
What does the expiration date mean and how long does F10 last?
The US EPA requires an expiration date of 2 years be put on all US labeled F10 products. This 2 year expiration begins when the product is produced in South Africa. By the time the F10 reaches the USA often 3 months has already passed on the 24 month expiration. Health & Hygiene (makers of F10 products) have tested samples of F10, both diluted and non-diluted, and found that the F10 product continues to have full efficacy for many years AFTER the EPA required expiration date. Reptile Basics, the USA importer of F10, does all that is possible to ensure a steady product turn over so that all F10 sold in the USA has a minimum of 1 year until expiration when it leaves our warehouse and in most cases 14 months+.

What are the suggested dilutions for the F10SC product?
General disinfection of hard surfaces: dilute 1:500 (2ml in 1 liter of water)
High level disinfection (hospital grade): dilute 1:250 (4ml in 1 liter of water)
For the most resistant: dilute 1:125 (8ml in 1 liter of water)
At Reptile Basics, we use the 1:250 dilution around the facility and for the reptile caging. Keep in mind that these dilutions are noted as per 1 liter spray bottles. If you are using the common 24 ounce spray bottle, you need 30% less F10 concentrate per bottle. 1 liter equals approximately 34 ounces.
What are the suggested dilutions for the F10SCXD Cleaner product?
A dilution of 1:200 is recommended for general cleaning and sanitizing.
I’ve read online that F10SC can be used for nebulization with animals directly, and also within rooms, can I get more info on that?
There are any number of accounts and discussions online of nebulization use of the F10SC product. The FDA has very recently approved a prescription only veterinary version of the F10SC label. While the product will be identical to the non-prescription retail F10SC product, it is recommended that you ask your veterinarian for further details.
